We have to date only bred nine litters as we only breed when we want to keep a puppy to continue on our lines. To date we have had 20 Champions, 3 Grand Champions, 10 Best in Show Winners, 13 Reserve in Show Winners, NZ's Top Winning Dobermann Bitch Ever, and NZ's Top Bitch Allbreeds for two years running. Our Dobermanns are known for their style, soundness and excellent movement, which has been appreciated by Specialists and Allbreeds Judges from around the world.
We have continued to mix the best of American and Australian bloodlines, with the importation of BIS/BISS Ch Dassin Golly Miss Molly (sired by Am Ch Royal Tudor's Lucky Twice) and NZ Ch Dassin American Express (sired by Am Ch Winmar American Gigolo Dassin (Imp USA) from Christine Moore and Roy Mallinder, both of whom are linebred to Am/Mex Ch Electras the Windwalker. We also imported Aust & NZ Ch Cimbria Its All About Me, a Cactus Cash great granddaughter.
In an effort to breed to the best we have imported frozen semen from the USA from Am Ch Royal Tudor's Lucky Twice CD, Am/Can Ch Wingates Electric Power, Am Ch Chehalems Rising Son Winzlot and Am Ch Cambrias Cactus Cash - the Top Doberman Sire of All Time in the USA
As well as being members of the New Zealand Kennel Club, we are members of the Dominion Dobermann Club, Central Districts Dobermann Club and the Doberman Pinscher Club of America. We have at various times been involved in most aspects of administration with the Dominion Dobermann Club in roles ranging from President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Magazine Editor etc. John in currently Vice President of Kumeu Kennel Association and Samantha was on the committee of the 2004 New Zealand Kennel Club National Dog Show.
We do not breed very often, only when we want to keep a puppy for ourselves but we look foward to the next generation of puppies combining these top bloodlines, and carrying on our winning tradition, as well as providing happy, healthy family pets and companions.
We purchased our first Dobermann puppy in 1983 as a pet and possible show prospect and we have been involved with Dobermanns ever since. Our first dog, Ch Lebhaft Minstrel King became a Multi Allbreed Best in Show and Specialty Best in Show winner, and led to us becoming heavily involved in showing. Samantha was fortunate to win the PAL NZ Junior Handler Final in 1988 and represented NZ at the International Final at Crufts in 1989, where she was placed in the Top Six Handlers.
Parima Dobermanns (New Zealand) was founded in 1988 with the purchase of two daughters of BIS/BISS Aust Ch Dobeherr Disco Fire (BIS/BISS Ch Parima the Florentine and BIS/BISS NZ Gr Ch Parima the Ione) from Richard and Maureen Driver of Parima Dobermanns - Sydney, Australia. "Disco Fire" herself was a top winner and producer (including Reserve in Show at the 1989 Australian Dobermann National, from 2 litters she produced 13 Champions and 8 Best in Show winners) and her daughters and their progeny have continued her winning ways here in New Zealand.
